Why don't I try making a banner once the skin is done? I would prefer it with an actual cat photograph in it.

I usually make the banner first, and use it as a template/pallet for the rest of the skin.

I understand your love for having Cat photos in the actual banner- but working from Shutterstock it's rather difficult to the get the watermarks out of them. This is especially true for the good ones. T_T

Maybe just try and make the skin first and we'll make the the banner afterwards. Just use that as a rough draft and then we'll make it.

I personally think a real cat should be on the banner. And are you making a completely new skin or is that going with the brown one.. ?

I dunno, I just like amnip banners and simple skins and grungy textures, so it's really not my thing. No offence, you know. xD

Okay, I tried to make the skin without the banner- but I simply couldn't do it. So with a new program (Daddy managed to get me Photoshop Elements 3.0 somehow...o.o') I decided to give the banner another shot.

So how's this one?

I like this one better, its pretty and it has a cat in it, it could be a little better in some areas, but as you are not used to it then it is a really good try.
