After posting your cat bio thread and we've moved it to pending you can come and post here.So we need a few cats...and tryouts are the easiest way to choose who we want for what. The positions are not chosen by the best or longest bio, or personal preference to people...but by who we think will do the best. If you have a very short bio, but it fits the job better than some huge bio then you will get the position. Fill out this form and reply to this thread...
We need Faunaclan Deputy Faunaclan Medicine Cat Ignatiusclan Medicine Cat Ignatiusclan Deputy L'eauclan Deputy L'eauclan Medicine Cat Caelumclan Deputy Caelumclan Medicine Cat
Your Name: Cat Name: Position: Bio Link: Why you deserve this position: RP Example:
RP Example: For your RP example please make an RP to one of these scenarios.
Leader or Deputy Example - You're on a patrol and you come across invading cats. - You think a cat has been betraying your clan.
Medicine Cat Example - You are brought a kit with a dislocated leg. - You're helping a Queen with the birthing of her kits.
Note::: Once somebody posts a tryout for any position then there will be a three day period where we wait for any other tryouts. If another tryout is posted the four day wait starts all over again. Once we get to the end of four days and no other bio has been posted the staff will converse and come up with the winner.

Your Name: ::Kly:: Cat Name: Torridstar Position: Ignatiusclan Leader Bio Link: Oh look at me I'm CLICKABLE.Why you deserve this position: Who is to say what they themselves deserve? I'd like to position, yes. May the most appropriate win. RP Example:Sightring and Rigidwing flanked him, while Jivepaw pushed to get ahead. Torridstar's ears flickered with the warriors. The apprentice looked up, to see what had caught their attention. Rigidwing silently coached the apprentice to hear the nigh inaudible rustling of the ferns. The apprentice held his breath. Torridstar turned up his nose, following the coming wind. He took into pursuit, slinking along the ground, keeping his own footsteps in check for sound. "Speak." He spoke with authority to the two warriors, coming up from behind them. He flicked his tail, and the two warriors crossed in front of the two in question. He kept the apprentice by his side. "Are you ill?" "Huh?" The one warrior turned, terse in manner. "Naw. We ain't sick. Why?" "Then there is no reason for you to not recognize the border." He hissed. "Why do you tread upon territory that is not your own? Why have you crossed into Ignatiusclan's territory?" "We were following a mouse." The other spoke quickly. "We didn't notice, we apologize-" The first warrior nudged his companions side in agitation. He looked up at the warrior, and mocked a bow. He smirked, and waltzed up to the leader. Sightring crossed his path, glaring. The warrior scoffed. "Can't your leader fight for himself?" "In a clan, all are one." Jivepaw recited. "Hunt, fight, live and die for your clan, and Starclan will see you in great favor for your loyalty." Torridstar smiled with pride. "Your body may be well, but your intentions are more ill than I will allow. Leave the territory of Ignatiusclan or suffer the consequences of trespassing and malicious intent." The warrior snickered, but his companion began to back away, back toward the border. "C'mon, it's not worth the fight." "You've got the courage of mousedung, you know that?" The warrior yowled. "Stand and fight!" Torridstar watched as the second warrior crossed back to their own side of the border with approval. He nodded in thanks, then turned to the first warrior. He stood, and his spine arched, creating a sharp image of hostility. Rigidwing and Sightring closed in with their Leader. The warrior hissed, not sure where to turn. Torridstar sunk his teeth into the warrior's scruff. He dragged the warrior toward the border, and threw him over the scent. "Mind the borders set by our ancestors." Torridstar hissed. "Should you return, you will become the laughingstock of the kits of all clans, for not being able to abide by the rules they know from birth." The warrior hissed, and turned tail, whimpering from the ache in his neck. Jivepaw watched him vanish out of his view. He looked up to Rigidwing, question in mind. "Why didn't we fight him?" "It wasn't necessary." The mentor mewed. "He won't be back. Besides, if we went to far with the fight, we might be called into account also." "That's dumb. He was on our territory!" Jivepaw yowled. "We could do whatever!" "Doesn't mean one should." Torridstar mewed softly. "Just because you can eat three mice, does that mean you should? He will be disciplined in his own camp for his actions. That is enough." "Still don't get it." Jivepaw mumbled. Torridstar returned to the patrol path. "You will, in time."

NOT FINISHED! Your Name: ootfur Cat Name: Sootfur Position: Ignatiusclan Deputy Bio Link: [Clicky =3] Why you deserve this position: That's for you to decide. Whether I do or I don't. But ... I do wanna put a good word in for myself ... so ... I'm reliable, pretty literate, and I love to write. =] RP Example:
The leaves rustle you and I both ...
A dark canvas moves quietly through the growth of green and brown. Following a mere tail-length away, a flicker of bright, flame-coloured pelt beams through breaks in leaves. They are swift, moving quickly over the twigs and branches that have long left their place on a trunk. They seem to carry a burning stench along with them, clinging without guilt to their short-furred pelts. Eight paws trample over the ground, but twelve more lie just ahead.
"I don't see why you have to drag me on this stupid patrol. There's plenty of other cats you could've taken along!" A high pitched whine broke the silence. "I easily could've gone hunting with Firewing!" The flame-coloured tom persisted, scuffling over a mossy fallen tree. Flicking an ear, he waited for a reply. When one did not come, he pressed onward, bringing up shoulder to shoulder with the jet black she-cat leading the way. "Besides, hunting would be good for my training."
"Yes but is Firewing your mentor? No. And we will have plenty of time for hunting, you have just become an apprentice." The sleek she-cat said, casting a stubborn look over to the flaming tom. "Patrols are very important, Flamepaw. Do you want cats invading on Ignatiusclan territory?" Shifting her amber eyes back to the trail, she sighed. "Just help me freshen the borders, please."
"Fine. You don't have to be so bossy though, Sootfur." Blinking harshly one more time, Flamepaw veared off, lifting his nose to pick up the border scents. Locating the thick line of Ignatiusclan markings, he set off with Sootfur's boring task. "I am an apprentice now, I'm not a kit. You have to at least ..." Flamepaw's mutters were cut off by an urgent hiss escaping Sootfur's mouth.
Sootfur hissed cautiously again, warning Flamepaw to stay low and to shut his mouth. Dropping to the forest floor, she slid silently over to Flamepaw's shaking body. He must have picked up on the invasive scent.
The air suddenly morphed to a sickening aroma of crowfood. And to Sootfur's horror, it was strong, and becoming stronger. They were on Ignatiusclan's territory! Snarling, she managed to keep her emotion under control, not wanting to flame up and give them away. Motioning for her apprentice to follow, she swept across the ground, stopping at a tall, overgrown bush. Pawsteps were shaking the leaves below her feet. Her body rocked lightly, taking in the number of paws coming toward her. Three cats. They were outnumbered!
"Follow me, and don't say anything!" Sootfur's hoarse whispered racked through Flamepaw's body. Visible shivers prickled his pelt. Sootfur breathed in, choking on the scent. On her mind she counted off ... 1 ... 2 ... 3 ... GO!
Shooting out of the covering of the bush, Sootfur let out a furious howl. Her anger rose as she thought of uninvited cats daring to step foot on Ignatiusclan territory. Landing with a thud, she whirled around and face three looming cats. Each of them bearing old wounds on their faces. But Sootfur was unphased.
"What are you doing on Ignatiusclan territory?" Her voice stung with authority, but her face screamed warrior. Her claws flexed outward. Flamepaw met her side, a fierceness sending ripples through even Sootfur's body.
"Oh look, it's a scrawny she-cat and an even scrawnier tom! What a match!" The largest of the group yowled, his possy gathering in a fit of laughter.
"Get off our territory." Sootfur broke up the words harshly, stepping closer and closer with each word. "Do you know what we can do? Do you know about Ignatiusclan's strength?" She had guessed they didn't. Their fine, sleek fur showed no trace of burns or singes. They had no clue of the fire that literally ran through their veins.
"What, are you going to attack us? You're outnumbered. Would that be such a smart move?" A sly smirk wavered over the faces of the group, each one sliding their ragged claws out.
"No, we're not going to attack you." Sootfur paused and watched the invaders faces bleed in confusion. She smiled knowingly. "We're going to burn you."
"You're going to-" The big tom's words were cut off the the fire lapping off Sootfur's pelt. Her body burst into a lather of fiery bubbles and flames. Sparks flew and smoke wafted into the air. The possy's eyes grew wide, threatening to swallow up their faces. They backed up slowly, eyes flying wildly in every direction. Any way to escape.
"You might want to leave now." Flamepaw padded up calmly to the frightened loners. A low-toned hiss peeked out of his mouth, but it didn't last long. Soon, that hiss changed into a fire-breathing fury. Fire shot out of his mouth, touching the pelts of the cats. Each one shrieked, and whipped around. They charged away from the scene, howling and screeching.
"So, do you still think patrols are stupid?" Sootfur asked, slowly letting her body cool from the flames. She looked up with a smile.
Flamepaw grinned, closing his mouth and eating up the flames. "Not after this."

Your Name: Soaringeagle (does it have to be different from your character??) Cat Name: Soaringeagle Position: CaelumClan Deputy Bio Link: Click Why you deserve this position: There is no reason that I deserve this above anyone else, just that I would really really like to have it. I do not think myself better than others. But I love to write, am very active (every day at least), reliable, and literate RP Example:Soaringeagle strode confidently but alert through the forest. The wind blew steadily towards her from all directions, an advance warning of any scents. A trace of mouse tickled her nose and she paused, tail flicking. I'm not on a hunting patrol... she mused. But I won't say no to some prey, either. She turned in the direction of the mouse-scent. With a gentle prodding of her mind, the wind changed directions so that it was all blowing the same way. She was completely downwind. The prey wouldn't stand a chance. The silver she-cat's body fell smoothly into a hunting crouch, and she pulled herself forward, nearly floating over the ground. The words "mouse feels you, rabbit hears you" flashed across her mind, and she imagined her paws being buoyed up by little pockets of air. The scent of mouse grew steadily stronger as she crept through the undergrowth. At last, the prey came into her line of vision. Soaringeagle let out a hiss so soft that it could have been leaves murmuring in the wind. Her tail waved gently back and forth, just a stirring stalk of grass in the wind. The mouse sat up on its hindpaws, nibbling a seed. Its chubby cheeks bulged as it searched the ground for more. The mouse never saw her coming. Soaringeagle rocked her haunches from side to side, but before she could spring, another scent hit her like a brick. It was strong and fresh, coming from directly upwind, but completely unfamiliar. The mouse froze in alarm and then was gone in a blink. The silver she-cat let out a snarl. Whoever this intruder was had just cost her a meal. Soaringeagle raced forward, seemingly a shadow on the wind. Within moments, she heard the telltale signs of pawsteps on the hard-packed ground, fur brushing against ferns. Her emerald green eyes picked out a lightening in the forest ahead and she emerged into a clearing. Two cats whirled around to stare at her, fur bristling aggressively. Soaringeagle ignored their reactions and sat down, curling her tail around her paws. "Well?" she asked finally in her soft voice. "Why are you on CaelumClan land?" The bigger of the two intruders stepped forward, mistrust thick on his face. "What's it to you, she-cat?" Soaringeagle rose slowly to her paws, never taking her eyes off the rogue. She spoke loud and slow, a menacing edge to her voice. "I am deputy of CaelumClan. Whether you are a threat to my Clan or not, you must leave our territory. Now." The smaller intruder glanced uneasily at the anger that burned in the silver she-cat's eyes. "Hawk," he muttered in an undertone. "Maybe we should go." The larger tabby, Hawk, cast a scathing glance at his companion. "Run off if you want, coward. I'll leave when I please, not when some stupid she-cat tells me to." Soaringeagle moved closer to Hawk. "You will not leave?" Her voice was pleasant, relaxed. Hawk seemed to grow more confident. "Yeah. You got a problem with that?" The silver she-cat held his gaze for a moment longer, then summoned up the wind so that it whipped around them in strong gusts. "You have chosen the wrong cat to mess with, Hawk." Hawk looked frightened of the wind, but he squared his shoulders and sprang at her, hissing. Soaringeagle ducked out of the way easily, swiping unsheathed claws down his flank as he hurtled past. Hawk let out a yowl of pain and stumbled a little when he landed, blood scattering in the wind. The rogue flew at her again. Soaringeagle dropped back so that instead of landing on her shoulders, Hawk was faced with her teeth and claws. The silver she-cat gripped him with her claws and flipped him onto his back. She glanced around once for the other cat, but it had fled when she'd summoned the wind. Giving him one last chance, Soaringeagle let the wind drop a little and hissed, "The stupid she-cat just beat you. Now will you listen to me?" Hawk snarled and lashed out with a forepaw. It caught her shoulder, unbalancing the Soaringeagle, but not enough to let the rogue wriggle away. She could feel warm blood dripping down her shoulder and the wind blew against skin that was not usually exposed to the outside air. Letting out a yowl, the silver tabby raked Hawk's belly with her back paws. He squealed and when Soaringeagle loosened her grip, he raced off into the undergrowth. "That should teach him," the CaelumClan deputy spat.

Name: Thymespeckle Cats Name: Thymespeckl Position: Caelumclan Medicine cat Link: Why: I would love to have this position. I am a medicine cat on a few other sites and thouroly enjoy it. I remember all the herbs and love role-play overall so I wouldn't be extreamly disapopinted if I didn't gert the position but I would love it.
RP Example: Thymespeckle heard a wail cut through the paeceful air of camp. She sat up and pricked her ears, trying to locate where the noise came from. As another wail echoed throughout camp she spotted the nursrey. Oh no! She thought Brambleberry must be kitting. The younger she-cat had gotten herself pregnant well before she should have, but she wasn't due anytime soon. Another half moon at least. Thymespeckle gathered up some herbs. Tansy leaves to help with milk production and poppy seeds for pain. She hustled into the nursrey where she saw Brambleberry lying on her side panting heavily.
"It's okay just caml down." she soothed the cat. She positioned herself beside the queen, watching ripples spread through her body. She put a paw on the she-cats stomach and slowly but surley a tiny kitten made it's way into the world. Two more were soon to follow. Brambleberry moaned and Thymespeckle realized there must be a fourth, and something was wrong. She saw a tiny foot sticking out, but the head was supposed to come first. She tried not to panick.,gripping the paw between her teeth she indicated Brambleberry to give one last effort and the kit slid out. But it wasn't breathing. It had been a stillbirht. Brambleberry sobbed and Thymespeckle nunged the three remaining kits closer to her stomach.
"These ones need you know dear." she spoke softly. She pushed three poppyseeds towards the queen and only once she and her kittens were asleep did she leave the nursery.

Your Name: mirror Cat Name: Joystripe Position: IgnatiusClan Medicine cat Bio Link: clickith! Why you deserve this position: i want to have a high position, i love meddies, and i've been a meddie cat before on other sites RP Example:Joypaw's bright ginger stripes stood out in the darkness. It was nighttime, a Gathering night, so the camp was empty. Her mentor had gone to the Gathering, but not her. She felt a little bubble of anger, but ignored it and continued sorting herbs, seperated them into small stacks. Tansy here, marigold there, ooh, catnip, they needed more of that! Borage, too. She made a mental list of things they needed. Catnip, borage, horsetail, coltsfoot. She mouthed it to herself under her breath. Catnip, borage, horsetail, coltsfoot. Catnip, borage, horsetail, coltsfoot. She thought about going to the Gathering and meeting cats from other Clans. Making new friends. She gave a sad but silent sigh and started sorting the feverfew from the thyme and camomile. MRRRROW! PUT ME DOWN! OW! THAT HURTS! OHH, JUST STOP!Joypaw looked up in surprise. Snowcrystal, beautiful white pelt shimmering, was bringing hot-tempered Flamekit back into the camp. Flamekit's front paw hung limply, and the tiny red she-kit shreked whenever her paw touched the ground. Joypaw winced. That had to hurt! She limped forward quickly. Flamekit glared at her. I'm - OW - five moons! OW - only one moon - OW - till I get - OW - to go to the - OW - Gathering! But I - OW - still - OW - can't go! she screamed, the other three of her legs thrashing. Joypaw gave a lick to Flamekit and the kit quited down. She looked questioningly up at Snowcrystal. Snowcrystal flicked her tail. The mouse-brain tried to sneak to the Gathering! She tripped and dislocated her paw while jumping over a fallen log. All four Clans heard her pitiful little screams. She made a fool of IgnatiusClan! Snowcrystal's tail lashed. When Flamekit glared up at her defiantly, she gave a warning hiss. Joypaw layed her tail on Snowcrystal's shoulder calmly. Snowcrystal took a deep breath and calmed down. Joypaw looked down at Flamekit. This will hurt. The message shone in her green-blue eyes, and Flamekit gave a growl. Joypaw lay her paw gently on Flamekit's leg. She moved it into place. The click was drowned out by Flamekit's loud, ear-splitting screech. Snowcrystal, from motherly instincts, moved forward to lick Flamekit, but Flamekit batted at her muzzle. When at last Flamekit started screaming, she looked wildly from right to left, then down at her paw. She wiggled it. It's back! she gasped, bounding out toward the camp entrance. Snowcrystal barred her way. Oooh, no, kitty, you're stayin' here. she growled.
